Simpaug Farms is part of the Connecticut Department of Agriculture Farmland Preservation program. Using this farmland solely for agricultural purposes, we protect Connecticut’s history, local food sources, and local jobs.

Become a locavore! Through the Farm to School and Farm to Chef programs, Simpaug Farms makes it easier than ever to enjoy local foods. You can find our sustainably-grown produce in school cafeterias and restaurants all over CT.

Simpaug Farms, a 250 acre working farm nestled in the Connecticut River Valley, uses sustainable farming practices to grow local produce. We are in the process of obtaining organic certification and a Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) member.

Community Supported Agriculture

CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, offers consumers an opportunity to buy local, seasonal food directly from the farmer. Consumers buy into the farm as a shareholder at the start of the growing season and, in exchange, receive a weekly “share” of the farm’s harvest.
